Support

Togo classroomThank you for your interest in Project PeacePal. Please wage peace with us as a Supporting Member or a PeacePartner as we work together to create a brighter future in our lifetime and for the generations that come after us.

Your support brings the message of peace and friendship to children and families around the globe. Like one pebble cast into a pond, your gift creates circle upon circle of connection, communication, and cooperation for the children who become PeacePals now and citizens and leaders of our world in the future.

Your gift is a message of peace. Thank you.

Supporting Membership

Many of our PeacePals live in remote areas without reliable mail service. Project PeacePal has undertaken the task of hand-delivering correspondence between students in several countries in Africa and the Middle East to ensure that PeacePals get their letters to and from the United States.

Providing steady income for our programs is the best way to assure the uninterrupted delivery of letters, supplies, and support to our partner countries. Supporting membership is an annual investment of $15 and helps defray costs.

PeacePartners

Project PeacePal is expanding throughout the world but we can't do it without your help. In just two years we've grown from a handful of children with the dream of a more peaceful world to nearly 4,000 PeacePals around the globe.

As we grow, so does our ability to help PeacePals in need. PeacePals are undertaking projects that provide much needed support, including: mosquito netting in countries affected by malaria, to school supplies. Become a PeacePartner with your monthly contribution and help us expand our programs to improve access to clean water, food and electricity.

Volunteer Opportunities

We need volunteers to help us in the following areas:

  • PeacePal Group Organizer: Organize PeacePals who are no longer in a classroom program to get together to write letters to their PeacePals, learn peace skills, and learn about their PeacePals' countries and culture.
  • Office Support Assistant: Help our office keep up with daily needs, including filing, running to the post office, updating the database, helping us find donated office space, managing our mailing lists, and a variety of other tasks.
  • Event Support: We need volunteers to help us host our gala fundraising event on March 31st, 2010. Get in touch with us for specific needs and let us know in what capacity you're interested in helping.
  • Traveling to one of our locations? Become a carrier of peace. Many of the countries we work in simply don't have reliable mail service. Help our PeacePals connect with each other.

Thank you so much for your interest in building world peace! We look forward to hearing from you soon.
