Meet our New Staff
Sarah Cady Sartorius 
Born in Santa Fe, Sarah Cady has her bachelor's degree in Communications and Sociology. She is returning to the University of New Mexico this fall to get another degree in Sign Language Interpreting.
She has lived in British Columbia and Guatemala for extended periods of time over the last six years. Sarah Cady speaks Spanish, loves to boat white-water, go hiking, and Latin dance. The job she dreams about today is the one she already has as the Project Manager for Project PeacePal!
"I believe peace can be found in a smile, laughter, warmth and kind words," she said. "I wage peace everyday by projecting happiness, love and mutual respect to everyone I encounter."
Kristen Gamboa 
Born and raised in El Paso, Texas, Kristen is currently attending UNM in pursuit of her bachelor's degree in Marketing.
"I fell in love with PeacePal though Sarah Wilkinson's strong commitment and dedication to spreading the idea of peace though the Albuquerque school system," she said. "Having worked with kids of all ages, I understand the need to educate and open their young minds to new experiences, especially with different cultures; something that Peace Pal achieves through their international pen pal program.
"Whether it's between friends, nations, parents, or siblings, I have always believed the best way to wage peace is by having open lines of communication and actually using them."
