Michael Howland-Davis

Michael Howland-Davis brings more than 20 years experience to Project PeacePal. He joins us as the organization's new Director of Development and Communications.

"Waging peace is fighting oppression," he said. "It takes place in our country and throughout the world. I find that war is the failure of the imagination and that the key to peace begins with equality."

He is an award winning journalist and public relations practitioner who also spent eight years in the U.S. Army. When he isn't working on some project or another he enjoys playing guitar, herding cats.

She has lived in British Columbia and Guatemala for extended periods of time over the last six years. Sarah Cady speaks Spanish, loves to boat white-water, go hiking, and Latin dance. The job she dreams about today is the one she already has as the Project Manager for Project PeacePal!

"I believe peace can be found in a smile, laughter, warmth and kind words," she said. "I wage peace everyday by projecting happiness, love and mutual respect to everyone I encounter."

Kristen Gamboa Kristen

"I fell in love with PeacePal though Sarah Wilkinson's strong commitment and dedication to spreading the idea of peace though the Albuquerque school system," she said. "Having worked with kids of all ages, I understand the need to educate and open their young minds to new experiences, especially with different cultures; something that Peace Pal achieves through their international pen pal program.

"Whether it's between friends, nations, parents, or siblings, I have always believed the best way to wage peace is by having open lines of communication and actually using them."
