Leah LuceroLeah Lucero is currently an undergraduate student at the University of New Mexico, working on earning degrees in both chemistry and spanish. A small-town girl from Las Vegas, New Mexico, she has always had an interest in international issues, particularly in international health. Through volunteering with Peacepal she hopes to broaden her knowledge about the world around her, being that she will be starting medical school in less than two years. Along with international issues, her interests include playing piano, exercise of all types, and enjoying the little things in life.

Sara Martin-Caro is a PE teacher from Spain, who has been working on international peace and intercultural understanding issues both at her high school and at different NGOs. She has traveled to different countries such as Peru, Haiti, The Dominican Republic, Honduras, and The Gambia to work on several educational projects and to learn about diversity and cultural differences. She joined Project PeacePal because she believes that creating friendship networks is the best way to develop a peaceful world.
